Physical Therapy
A golf physical therapy evaluation is a specialized assessment that is designed to evaluate a golfer's physical condition and movement patterns in order to identify any limitations or areas of weakness that may be affecting their golf game.
During a golf physical therapy evaluation, I will perform a variety of tests and assessments to evaluate your flexibility, strength, balance, and movement patterns. I will also analyze your swing mechanics and look for any potential biomechanical issues that may be contributing to pain or injury.
The initial evaluation comprises of:
TPI biomechanics screen
Swing screen
SFMA
Physical therapy special tests- based on finding from the biomechanics screen and SFMA
Based on the results of the evaluation, I will develop a personalized treatment plan to help you improve your physical condition and overcome any limitations or injuries that may be impacting your golf performance. The plan may include exercises, manual therapy, and other interventions to help the golfer achieve their goals.
